Inspired by Sharmila Irom Chanu, known as an icon of resistance, spending 16 years protesting against India’s Armed Forces Special Powers Act, which gave the government power to arrest anyone who acted suspiciously against the state.  Despite facing imprisonment and undergoing extensive hunger strikes she remains the pinnacle of strength and justice.
